If you have ordered from our Pre Order Sale, you will be notified when the item has come in to stock and your item has been shipped.

Please note that standard delivery items will usually take 2-5 working days. Working days are Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.

To ensure swift delivery please ensure someone is available to sign for your parcel at the delivery address you specify. Please be aware that external factors beyond our control (such as strikes, adverse weather conditions, etc.) may delay your order.

We are now offering free standard delivery for orders over €75. Please note that this offer is available when you spend over €75 on STANDARD items only. Free delivery will not be included when you purchase a large product that requires special handling or if your total order exceeds 20kg in weight.  In this case a delivery charge of will apply. This will be notified to you at the checkout prior to you completing your purchase

 

Large Bulky items are aimed to be delivered within 10 working days. The cost varies depending on the size and area you live. You will see prices at checkout.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR AN ORDER TO BE DELIVERED?

For orders from the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, items usually take 1-5 working days. Our average delivery time is 2.1 days through An Post. Any orders placed over the weekend will be classed as being placed on the following Monday.

Please note that these delivery times are only guidelines and are not 100% guaranteed due to certain factors which are outside of our control.

HOW MUCH WILL MY SHIPPING COSTS BE?

In Ireland Delivery

  • Free Delivery Nationwide when you spend €75 or more on standard orders. This excludes bulky items like furniture, large bags of dog food, lawncare and fragile items like ornaments that need special packaging.
  • Garden Seeds only €2.00 on postage and packaging,
  • Standard Delivery = €6.95 on the island of Ireland
  • Excessively Heavy Orders eg Dog Food, lawncare etc that weigh more than 20kg =€6.95 per item. Alternatively you can choose a pallet rate if that is more beneficial.
  • Bulky Items/Irregular or Fragie Items will incur surcharges based on how many parcels we need to send or if we require a special courier. Prices start from €6.95 to €79.95
  • Pallet Delivery €39.95
  • Double Pallet Delivery €79.95

 

Mainland Britain Delivery

We can deliver most of our items to the UK. There is a standard delivery cost of €9.95. Please note we cannot delivery bulky items to the UK without contacting us and arranging a special price with our couriers. Please contact us to arrange a cost. Delivery Outside UK & Ireland

Please note we currently do not offer delivery outside Ireland and Britain. We may be able to deliver some items but please contact us to arrange a cost. Please email our Customer Service team at [email protected] so we can assist you.

WHAT TIME OF DAY WILL I RECEIVE MY DELIVERY?

Orders are delivered between 8.00am and 6.00pm. For your convenience, we can deliver your order to your work address. Therefore, when ordering please enter your work address. If applicable, include the company name.

Can I get a tracking code to trace my order?

Please check your emails. An Post send notifications directly to your email. It will have a title for instance like An Post Delivery Notification for tracking item CE 946297576 IE. For bulkier items, we sometimes use other couriers who don’t offer tracking codes. Our couriers will contact you directly to arrange delivery.

WHY HAS MY ORDER NOT BEEN DELIVERED AND RETURNED TO MCD'S?

The most common reason is because our delivery carrier attempted delivery and were unable to obtain a signature. If this happens, please contact us at [email protected] and we will track your order immediately.

I HAVE RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEMS

If you believe you received the wrong items in your parcel, please email [email protected] and we will investigate further.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?

We deliver to 32 counties in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We also deliver a selection of products to mainland Britain.

CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATE / TIME WHEN I PLACE MY ORDER?

Currently, you cannot request a specific delivery date or time when you place your order. When ordering from An Post, you will receive a tracking code which you can request delivery times directly with them. We have no control of their schedules and delivery dates. 

RETURNS

McD’s is committed to selling high-quality products but we also know there may be times when you need to exchange or return something you’ve bought. We will willingly refund or offer an exchange on any unused product returned within 14 days of the date on the receipt of your order, provided you can show us your dispatch note and/or receipt and the product is in a reasonable, re-saleable condition, with its original materials, manuals and accessories intact. Please note customers will be bearable for cost and logistics of returns.

 

Returns of orders through An Post are facilitated through returnmyshopping.ie or An Post returnpal app. We are listed on their website. An Post can arrange collection to your door if you live in Dublin City. Please contact them directly. 

RETURNING A DAMAGED DEFECTIVE ITEM

If the item was damaged in transit

If you receive delivery of a package and the contents have been damaged in transit, you can return the item(s) to us for a replacement or refund granted you notify us within 7 days of receipt of the order. The item must be returned with all packaging materials, manuals and accessories intact. You will be refunded for postage and delivery charge up to the value of the original delivery charge.
If the item is defective (within 30 days of receipt) You have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable period of time. Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item as this may be needed should there be a fault. If any item that we deliver to you arrives damaged or is faulty, then we will happily replace the item for free or refund the item. We will refund the cost of returning the parcel up to the value of the original delivery charge.

RETURN A LARGE BULKY ITEM

For the purposes of this returns policy, a “large bulky item” means any item that is over 20kg. However some items may be classed as large or bulky items even if they weigh less than 20kg due to the product dimensions, e.g. garden furniture sets, barbecues, gazebos, etc. The following applies should you wish to return a large item:

 

If you are unhappy with your large item, you may return it to us within 14 days of the date of delivery. The item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials, manuals and accessories intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you for our reasonable cost if the product is received otherwise than in accordance with these requirements. You are responsible to pay the cost of returning the goods and must ensure that it is returned in protective packaging. Please email [email protected] if you wish to return a large item.

DO I HAVE TO PAY TO RETURN MY ONLINE ORDER?

Yes, you will be liable for the cost of returning the goods and must ensure that it is returned in protective packaging. If the item is damaged or defective, you will be refunded for the charge of sending the parcel back of to the value of original delivery cost.

WHAT IF I PURCHASED THE ITEM MORE THAN A MONTH AGO?

The decision to accept the return is at the discretion of our Customer Service team.

FREE CLICK AND COLLECT SERVICE

We offer free click and collect service on all our items. Payment for goods must be authorized before we will reserve the item for you in store. 

 

Please note there are some items on our website that are click and collect only. These items will be indicated as such on the page. For instance most of our garden paints and large ornaments are click and collect only as our insurance will not cover us with our third party shipping provider for these items.

CLICK AND COLLCET PROCEDURE

When you place an order on our website and choose click and collect at checkout, you will get an email notifying your order is being processed. We try to be as fast as possible and will endeavor to contact you within 2 working hours to tell you when the item will be ready for collection. Please do not visit shop until you have received a confirmation email or call to let you know item is ready for collection. 

 

Please bring proof of ID and a printed copy of your order or a copy on your device so our staff can double check your order details at the counter to finalise your collection.

IN LOUGHREA

Please note our Click & Collect Service From Loughrea has been temporarily suspended from November 2nd 2020. We will update this page when it is back open. 

 

IN GALWAY CRYSTAL
Please visit our shop through the front door of the Galway Crystal building. We have a desk open specifically for collections. You will not be able to enter the store. You will be contacted to let you know your item is ready for collection. Please do not arrive before you have received this notification as you will not be able to collect it until our team have processed your order.
